We’re here to answer them.

Here are a few things you might want to know about our shop, our process, and how we keep projects moving forward:

  • DDM operates a wide range of equipment given our scope of capabilities, but you’ll find we tend to pick the right machine for the job and invest in leading equipment manufacturers for each machine type.

Brands like Okuma, OKK, Omax, DMS, and MAAC are on our floor and serve us well in meeting our primary objective… Customer satisfaction.

  • Lead times vary according to complexity and current workloads, but reasonable turnaround times are part of our value proposition.

We aim to staff our facility so that orders can be turned in 3-4 weeks.

This leaves room for the expected “gotta have it now” parts without upsetting our flow.

  • Depends on the process.

Our largest parts are patterns, molds and aircraft monuments that can be as large as 15’x15’.

Thermoformed plastic parts can be as large as 4’x8’.

    Waterjet parts can be 5’x10’.

Machined parts can be as long as 75” and as wide as 40”.

Turned parts are generally under 12” in diameter.

3D printed parts will fit on a 14”x14” build plate.

  • Metals (Aluminum, Stainless, Steel, Titanium, Inconel); Plastic (ABS, PC, PETG sheets for vacuum forming – PC, PP, Nylon, Acetal stock for machining); Foam (Open-cell, closed-cell, soft, or dense); Wood (mainly plywood and MDF).

  • Quality, repeatability, traceability and security are at the core of how we work.

Our internal systems revolve around the requirements of AS9100, ISO9001, ITAR, and CMMC.

  • We currently operate in about 30,000sf across 3 different buildings.

Our campus continues to grow and is on the way to becoming a 50,000sf operation

  • Of course!  Who doesn’t like showing off when you’re great at what you do?

Drop us a note on the Contact Us page and we’ll set a time to take you through the entire operation.Item description

  • We try to stay out of debates about politics, religion and NC BBQ.  In NC, we’re pork folk…and personal BBQ preferences are strong and unyielding.  In central/eastern NC, however, if you don’t like the taste of vinegar, you’re missing out on one of the region’s most well-known culinary distinctions.

Still can’t find what you need?
